Amy Ho , MA, CF-SLP
Amy is a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist clinical fellow, who speaks English and Vietnamese. She received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at San Diego State University in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. Prior to becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist, Amy was heavily involved in research and training, looking at child language development disorders in both English and Spanish. While obtaining her degree, Amy had the opportunity to study Speech-Language Pathology in Glasgow, Scotland in 2017, where she was able to observe and collaborate at the Royal Children’s Hospital and Scottish Cochlear Implant Program at Crosshouse Hospital. Through these unique experiences, Amy has a better understanding of individuals with a diverse background who have a communication disorder.
Additionally, Amy has worked with a variety of disorders, including DiGeorge syndrome, down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, speech sound disorders, and other areas related to speech and language disorders. During her clinical practicum, she received training in an outpatient medical setting across the lifespan and public-school setting throughout San Diego County. Her main focus is in Voice Disorders.
In her free time, Amy likes to live an active lifestyle, whether that be surfing, hiking, or traveling the world. She also loves to cook and check out new restaurants.
