Additionally, Sarina has been volunteering with the Jimmy Miller Memorial Foundation for over 5 years to provide Ocean Therapy (Occupational Therapy through surfing) with the active-duty Marines in the Wounded Warriors Battalion West at Camp Pendleton. While at USC, Sarina also had the opportunity to work with USC With Your Shield, a program serving the transitioning Naval Special Warfare (NSW) community and their families.

Sarina is the former Vice President of the USC Veterans Association where she worked with student Veterans to advocate for funding, accesses to resources, and for more student Veteran services at USC. Through her work with the USC Veterans Association, Sarina had the opportunity to meet General James Mattis and worked collaboratively with General David Petraeus to help student Veterans at USC achieve their personal, professional, and academic goals.

Sarina’s passion for military families brought her to Oceanside Therapy Group where she is very excited to be working in pediatrics! Sarina is a client-centered OT and utilizes an evidence-based, holistic, approach. Sarina is excited to be a part of a multidisciplinary team and she is proud to put our OTG families first.
