Jennifer “Jenni” Sorensen , M.S., CCC-SLP
Jenni is a graduate of Chapman University where she received her education in Liberal Arts and Human Development. She then went on to Biola University where she received a second undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders as well as a graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She is currently completing her Clinical Fellowship here at OTG.
Prior to this, Jenni worked as an ABA in home therapist, was a SLP Assistant for over 2 years and was recently certified in Beckman Oral Motor Protocol. She is especially drawn to natural, play-based approaches to really engage and motivate children, meanwhile incorporating structured intervention. Her passion is early-intervention and language development. She has experience working with children and adults of all ages diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders, fluency disorders, apraxia, dysphagia, speech sound disorders, and language development disorders.
In her spare time, Jenni enjoys being on or near the water with family and friends, running, and working with her church.
