What Others Are Saying

There are many things I love about working at OTG

especially being part of the amazing community that has been built among those who work here and the families we work with! They really prioritize the wellbeing of the families we work with and the employees, and encourage collaboration and communication between therapists, admin, and management!

Oceanside Therapy Group is a great place where you work with and work for great people!

A family-centric company where interdisciplinary collaboration supports our greatest objective of all: success for the child! Working at OTG has helped me to refine my craft by teaching me to consider the needs of the whole child versus just the objectives in the treatment plan. Promoting play-based therapy and connection over compliance, my time at OTG has resulted in authentic relationships with both my patients and co-workers!

I am so happy that we finally found not one but two of the best therapists in Oceanside

I am so happy that we finally found not one but two of the best therapists in Oceanside. Both my boys have been going to see different therapists over the years. My sons therapist Tony has done more in the past year then all the years of therapy combined. He’s finally trying different foods when we ask him too. My other son is being seen for speech and we are seeing a significant improvements in his annunciation and reading abilities. Lastly I would like to thank Josh and Rebekah for all they do in the community. They sponsored my sons baseball team 2 years ago. Thank you so much OTG

So thankful for the relationships we formed there!

Between both of my boys, we received all 3 services here (speech, OT and PT) and these people literally became part of our family over the last 3 years! (We only left due to PCS) My boys made amazing progress, and over the time we were there I think they saw every single therapist at one point or another and they were all great! I truly don’t know what we are going to do without them! My youngest didn’t really understand until we were on the way home that we were saying goodbye for good, and when it finally clicked for him that he wasn’t going to see them next week he started bawling! So thankful for the relationships we formed there!

These people literally become your family!

Where do I begin? OTG is amazing for so many reasons. My oldest son is Autistic and has been a patient here for 5 years. He receives speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy. Not only is the facility absolutely amazing, their staff (from therapists to office support) have ALWAYS gone above and beyond to treat my son. They always listen to our concerns, provide helpful suggestions for things to work on at home, and a plethora of resources- just to name a few. My youngest son is also a patient for physical therapy and is so excited to go “play” on his therapy days. Every session is filled with fun games, crafts, and gym time. My kids don’t even realize they are attending a therapy session which is exactly how it should be. Look no further! This is the place for your kids. Like many other reviews say, these people literally become your family!

I am so thankful that we found this group.

We have been so fortunate to work with Oceanside Therapy Group for the past year and a half. My son was diagnosed with Autism level II at 19 months, but, even before he was diagnosed per his pediatrician’s recommendation we started speech therapy at OTG. This led into utilizing occupational and physical therapy, as well. We have had nothing but positive experiences with this group, all the therapists truly care about the children and seeing them improve. My son loves his “therapy days”. Not only do they care about their patient, they care that us caretakers and always take the time to explain all processes and how we can better help our children. Everyone in the group is professional, yet personal. If you are considering OTG, I assume your life has likely been touched by autism (or another disability), and I don’t have to tell you how overwhelming it all can be! But, I AM telling you-these are the people you want caring for your child. They see your child as a limitless child and not a diagnosis! My son is now talking and doing great in all areas and I largely attribute this to everyone at OTG. I am so thankful that we found this group.

I am so happy that we found them!

My son has been receiving speech therapy through OTG since July 2020 and I am so impressed! He has made so much progress and Ms. Valeria is so kind and patient. He loves going which makes therapy so much easier. I love their office. Their front office staff is accommodating and understanding, especially in this crazy time. I am so happy that we found them!

My daughter sometimes wakes up in the morning asking if it’s a day we’re going to see Ms. Katie

My daughter is 2 and receives OT here. We started during the pandemic and when things got worse they no longer allowed parents into sessions with their children. I understand the reasoning but with children as young as 2 who can’t advocate for themselves… it just seems weird to separate them from their parents. I still don’t really like that.
That being said, my daughter’s OT, Katie, is so awesome. My daughter sometimes wakes up in the morning asking if it’s a day we’re going to see Ms. Katie because she has so much fun there.

The time and feedback my therapist provides to us after each session is greatly appreciated, and her dedication to her profession and the children she treats is definitely above the rest.

I’m so glad we were referred to this location.

They have performed great speech therapy for my son and I would highly recommend this practice. The multiple ladies who have helped my son were all wonderful. I’m so glad we were referred to this location.

OTG has become our home away from home and like a second family to us.

My kids have been receiving speech and occupational therapy services since 2012. They love their time spent at Oceanside Therapy Group with their therapists. I love that I have seen my kids thrive and improve by leaps and bounds. Oceanside Therapy Group has become our home away from home and like a second family to us.

I highly recommend Oceanside Therapy Group for all of your children’s needs

OTG has been crucial in helping my son improve his speech. The company offers so many options with PT, OT and Speech, it’s my one stop shop! The staff is professional and efficient. My son looks forward to going! The therapists are all top notch and I highly recommend Oceanside Therapy Group for all of your children’s needs.

We love it at OTG!

We love it at OTG! They matched us with the perfect therapist and my daughter has truly bonded! We have seen lots of progress in my daughter’s speech in the few months we’ve been there.

About 6 months after that both children started receiving occupational therapy.

We’ve been going to Oceanside Therapy Group (OTG) since February 2011 (when my son was 6 months old) till present. We started with just our older daughter receiving speech therapy, then both my oldest daughter and son (we have had a 7 month old too now). My son started speech at exactly a year old due to him not talking. About 6 months after that both children started receiving occupational therapy.
Both my kids have seen by Shari, Tony, Meg, Courtney, Mehgan, Mara, Erin, Sara and a few others when were filling in for someone else’s cancelled appointment. I did learn (quickly by Shari when we first started) that if you don’t keep going consistently its NOT going to help your child. You will also be charged $50 (or at least thats what it was at the time I paid for missing 2 sessions in a row ). If you or your child isn’t happy with their current Oceanside Therapy Group therapist then tell Armida or the front desk and they will try to work your child in with another therapist that may be a better fit.
Oceanside Therapy Group has grown so much in the years we’ve been going. When we started it was a waiting room with 2 – 2 seater love seats and a 3 seater couch, a receptionist (who wrote everything in pencil in individual scheduling books) and just a few speech therapists. Now they have almost the whole downstairs of the building and moved to electronic scheduling and 4 receptionists. We’ve had a few scheduling mix ups and problems but thats only been because I didn’t pay attention to my calendar or listen to what I was told and when my kids appointments were.
We moved in April 2012 down to Rancho Bernardo and made the drive (in morning rush hour traffic) 3 times a week. After 7 months we switched offices to something closer to us in RB (let’s call that place # 2) and 3 months after switching to place #2 we switched back to Oceanside Therapy Group. The staff at place # 2 was not conducive for my kids and after a few therapists, it just wasn’t working for us. The only downfall was losing our spots with Shari and Tony (the most sought after therapists) but we wanted them back and were put on a ‘wait list’ so to speak to be back on their schedules when a spot opened up that worked for both them and us.
Oceanside Therapy Group also has an annual FREE family day with burgers, hot dogs, jump houses, relay games, face paint, balloons and just plain old outdoor fun for kids. They also participate in the ACT! for Military Families Autism 5k/10k every year too – my kids love going to both events 🙂 Josh and Rebekah (the wonders of Oceanside Therapy Group) really put their hearts and souls into their business to make sure that the families they service get what they need. At times that comes at a sacrifice to their own children and most of the families don’t realize what it takes to run a pediatric therapy office of this size. We will continue our services with Oceanside Therapy Group until the kids “graduate” – when that day comes I may cry just a tad bit!

I have liked every therapist that they have worked with since day one.

We moved here in November 2018 and immediately started trying to get our two kids into speech and OT. Unfortunately, we started trying with another provider who had us on a wait list for five months. I finally got my PCM to change the referral to OTG and both kids were quickly started with fill in spots and then in weeks were offered their reoccurring appts. The pandemic definitely messed up our perfect schedule, but OTG was quick to get us back in new reoccurring appts that better fit our new normal. They have always tried to work with our schedules no matter how ridiculous our request and time frames may be. We have been with them for a year and half now with my kids receiving OT/PT/Speech and my kids and I have liked every therapist that they have worked with since day one.

I wouldn’t take my kids anywhere else, our therapists feel like an extension of our family.

We love Oceanside Therapy Group! Both kids have received speech and occupational therapies since 2014 with a variety of therapists. All of the therapists here are so capable and constantly striving to evolve and improve their skills. Our daughter struggles with transitions and the therapists handle it with large amounts of patience and she always comes back at the end of her sessions saying that she had fun. Both kids have made tremendous amounts of progress during their time at Oceanside Therapy Group. I feel like each discipline (speech, occupational, and physical therapies) are adequately staffed and we are always able to get appointments rescheduled easily. I wouldn’t take my kids anywhere else, our therapists feel like an extension of our family.

They always go the extra mile in explaining what’s going on so that as a parent you truly feel involved.

We see multiple therapists here at Oceanside Therapy Group and absolutely love all of them. We see each discipline each week for two kids, so we’ve seen a lot of the therapists here. Everyone always remembers where my kids are at in their treatment and are beyond willing to accommodate anything I ask or for any extra appointments I feel they may benefit from. They always go the extra mile in explaining what’s going on so that as a parent you truly feel involved.

All of the staff, from office to therapists clearly love their jobs, and love our kids.

We have been with Oceanside Therapy Group for 3 years now, and they have done wonders for both of our children. We have (or have had) them in speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and feeding therapy there. All of the staff, from office to therapists clearly love their jobs and love our kids.

‐ Christine L.

I will always recommend Oceanside Therapy Group to anyone and everyone.

My children have been coming here since December of 2012. Between my kids and numerous appointments through the years they have worked with every Speech-Language Pathologist and Occupational Therapist that is employed here. The therapist doesn’t always change like that, but I like for my children to get as much therapy time as possible and we are always picking up extra/fill in appointments with whomever is available. All of my children have thrived here. One child went from non-verbal to a chatter box. Another went from 2 years of speech services through various schools and showing no improvement, to catching up and surpassing what is considered age appropriate speech within 15 months. I will always recommend Oceanside Therapy Group to anyone and everyone.

We love all of the OTG staff and can’t wait to return to the clinic!

My son has been going to OTG for all 3 therapies since April of 2019. The pandemic kind of shook things up but OTG didn’t waste any time getting transitioned into teletherapy. Right now there is a lot of fear going around, but having a special needs child really contributes to the fear of regression. Teletherapy has helped us maintain a level of normalcy and my son has continued to thrive, even at home. We love all of the OTG staff and can’t wait to return to the clinic, but the flexibility they have offered with teletherapy is amazing!

If your child needs Physical Therapy in North County, this is the clinic you want to go to!

The therapists at Oceanside Therapy Group are truly exceptional. I am a Physical Therapist (not a Peds therapist however), and as such, I am always very aware of how other healthcare professionals interact with their patients and the family members of patients. Over the past year, I have had some “okay,” and unfortunately a few negative experiences in pediatric therapy. The clinicians at OTG on the other hand are phenomenal. My son primarily sees Dr. Chris, and he works so well with my son. He has also worked with Dr.’s Athena and Jennifer, both of whom have also been excellent to work with. The therapists here seem to truly care about their patients, and in creating a positive and fun environment for the children. I find the therapists to be highly knowledgeable in pediatric patient care, and both listen and communicate well with their patients and the families. The front office staff are also very kind, welcoming and helpful. I cannot be more grateful to have found such a great clinic, and I am so appreciative of the dedication and care provided by both the clinicians and the staff at OTG. If your child needs Physical Therapy in North County, this is the clinic you want to go to!

We love our Oceanside Therapy Group family.

We love our Oceanside Therapy Group family. My two year old son receives ST and OT through OTG. He loves seeing them every session. I was very worried how therapy would continue during the COVID19 pandemic. OTG offered telehealth and it has allowed my son to continue progressing to meet his goals. Every therapist has worked to help make these sessions a success. My son runs to his learning area and eagerly waits to start each session on the computer. I am so grateful this business makes the necessary adjustments to keep everyone safe while still offering services to stay on track with goals.

Both my kids have been going here for almost 4 years!!

I have been taking my son here since the beginning of the year and he has made amazing improvement

I have been taking my son here since the beginning of the year and he has made amazing improvement, from basically nonverbal to at least 50 words now that he says independently from his speech therapies. He also started receiving Occupational therapy since August and has made really good progress with his motor skills. Every single person I have met here has been nice to us, from administration to therapists, and my child really loves attending his classes. I appreciate how patient the therapists are not only with my son but with us running a little late to our appointments sometimes.

Thank you OTG!!

Ms. Amy has helped my daughter so much with her speech. She is always so excited to go see her. With these uncertainties in person visit have truly helped with her speech development! Thank you OTG!!

Oceanside Therapy group has been a life saver for my daughter

Oceanside Therapy group has been a life saver for my daughter. When I had lost hope of finding her an OT place, they were able to accept her and help her over come a lot of obstacles in her life. We love going her and all the staff are so welcoming to every child and family member.

I cannot say enough good about this office!

My twins had been in Speech/OT/PT for almost two years (elsewhere) when we started here a few months ago. Already I am seeing them make leaps and bounds in what they’ve learned!
Also- though my one son had been in services for a few years, it was the amazing therapists here at OTG that pointed out a major tongue tie issue (that thankfully we were just able to resolve). I cannot say enough good about this office! As a military family I was anxious with our move here and having to re-find services for my kids…..but I shouldn’t have been, they are in great hands!

My son has flourished in his language skills!

We absolutely adore working with Mrs. Claire. My son has flourished in his language skills and I feel it is because she is able to teach each of her clients uniquely. Other staff has been helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating when needed. When COVID first hit Oceanside therapy group was on top of things and already taking precautions to ensure the safety of their clients and employees.
