Jessica graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior, and her Bachelor of Arts Psychology from University of California, Davis in 2017. She then moved across the country and moved her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of New England in 2020. Upon graduation, Jessica moved back home to southern California to start her career in pediatric OT.
Jessica comes to OTG with excitement and passion for working with children and their families to help them reach their full potential. She believes children learn their best through meaningful and motivating play in a safe and supportive environment. Jessica has additional training in Ayres Sensory Integration and Neurodiversity-Affirming Practices. She has recently taken the following continuing education courses: A Sensory-Motor Approach to Baby-Led Weaning, AEIOU Approach to Feeding, and Trauma-Informed Care for Pediatric Occupational Therapists. Jessica loves learning and is constantly engaging in learning to better her clinical skills and knowledge.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending her time outside running, biking, hiking, and hanging out at the beach. When she isn’t outside, you can find Jessica reading, cooking, and spending time with her husband and their cat!
