OTD, OTR/L
Ashley joined OTG in 2025 with a strong foundation in both pediatric and adult occupational therapy. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from California State University San Marcos in 2020 and went on to receive her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy (OTD) from the University of St. Augustine, San Marcos in 2023.
Ashley has experience working in pediatric outpatient settings, where she has supported children with a variety of diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Down Syndrome, and rare genetic conditions. She is currently beginning the process of specializing in pediatric feeding through the SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) Approach and is eager to deepen her knowledge in sensory integration techniques.
Her clinical background also includes experience in adult hospital rehabilitation settings, where she worked with individuals recovering from strokes, traumatic brain injuries (TBI), and spinal cord injuries (SCI). Additionally, she has served students in school-based environments, addressing needs related to ASD, ADHD, neurological disorders, and specific learning disabilities. This diverse clinical exposure allows Ashley to approach therapy with a comprehensive and compassionate perspective.
Ashley is passionate about supporting children and families through individualized, play-based, and neurodiversity-affirming care. She values building strong relationships through empathy and connection, always aiming to respect and support each family’s unique routines, roles, and goals.
Originally from the San Diego area, Ashley enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors-whether it’s hiking, going to the beach, or embarking on a road trip adventure. A foodie at heart, she also loves discovering local, family-owned eateries-especially those that serve ice cream!
