Originally from North Carolina, Brenna earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Applied Behavioral Analysis and Developmental/Intellectual Disabilities in 2017 at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Brenna then earned her Master of Sciences degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2023 at North Carolina Central University.

Inspired by her younger brother who received speech therapy at a young age, Brenna has a passion for providing fun, uplifting, evidence-based services for children of various ages and diagnoses. Following graduation, Brenna worked in North Carolina as a home health speech-language pathologist for the early intervention and elementary-aged populations. Brenna specializes in working with children with autism, expressive and receptive language disorders, and articulation disorders.

Brenna focuses on providing services integrating the sensory needs of clients to provide the optimal learning environment for speech, language, and pragmatic skills. Brenna looks at each child as a whole to provide individualized services incorporating the interests of clients to promote client motivation and positive outcomes. Brenna is excited to further expand her clinical expertise in the areas of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), fluency, and motor-speech disorders.

Outside of work, Brenna enjoys traveling, reading, going to the beach, and spending time with her husband, dog, and cat.
