Carrie is originally from Rhode Island and found her way to the west coast where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and continued on to receive her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology in 2024. Carrie has completed clinical placements with both adults and children in a variety of settings. These include a Neurological Rehabilitation clinic where she worked with adults that suffered from brain injuries, strokes, and head and neck cancer. She also worked in the school setting with elementary aged children and conducted speech and language assessments and treatments.
Carrie enjoys working with children of all ages. She has a special interest in swallowing/feeding disorders and receptive/expressive language delays and is always excited to keep growing and learning more about play based therapy among the pediatric population. Carrie has plans to pursue further certifications and grow her therapeutic skills in her areas of interest.
In her spare time, Carrie can be found at the beach surfing, swimming, free diving, and tanning. Carrie also enjoys lifting and running as well with friends and staying active. She enjoys traveling and seeing new places and always making sure to find a new coffee shop wherever she goes.
