Karen knew at a young age that she wanted to be a Pediatric Physical Therapist as she was inspired by attending therapy with her younger cousin. Her passion led her to Cal State University, Fullerton where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. In December 2015, she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine.
Karen is passionate about working in the outpatient pediatric setting and enjoys providing family-centered care for children and their families. She has taken advanced course work in Pilates for Rehabilitation which focuses on relieving pain, retraining optimal movement and the importance of posture.
Karen was born and raised in Southern California and enjoys warm, sunny days. She also enjoys traveling the world and finding new and challenging hikes. She has a passion for health/fitness and enjoys yoga, Pilates, barre and working out with friends. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and Golden Retriever, Murphy.
