Lauren

MOT OTR/L

Lauren began her academic journey at California Polytechnic Institute in San Luis Obispo, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Child Development. Her desire to make an impact on the lives of children led her to pursue further education, and she recently completed her Master of Occupational Therapy degree at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos. During her time in graduate school, Lauren fell in love with the beauty of North County San Diego, and is thrilled to be living in this wonderful area! Lauren has always enjoyed working with children and feels lucky to be able to incorporate the occupation of play into her day to day life. Lauren always strives to create an environment where children feel comfortable, engaged, and excited to embark on their individual journeys of growth and development.

Outside of her rewarding work at OTG, Lauren’s heart belongs to her two furry companions – her husky dogs. Together, they explore all over Southern California, whether it’s a day at the beach, hiking, or even venturing up to Big Bear for some snowy adventures.
